St Wilfrid’s Hospice are looking to recruit Community Support Volunteers who visit and befriend patients in their own homes offering a chance to talk, give respite and reassurance to families, laugh, reminisce and even play the odd game of scrabble!

Is this something you could do?

If you have a kind heart and enjoy spending time with people, then it’s a yes! During your training we get to know you and this means we can carefully match you with someone we think you will get on with close to where you live. You will receive ongoing support and have the opportunity to attend regular support groups.

We would love to welcome you to the St Wilfrid’s Hospice team.
